Signing of Memorandum of Understanding

Cagayan de Oro City: Last May 8, 2024, Calabrian Children’s Foundation Inc. (CCFI) through its executive director, Rev. Fr. Ronnie Lapara, PSDP entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with the Xavier University (XU)-Ateneo de Cagayan represented by its president, Rev. Fr. Mars Tan, SJ. The signing of the MOU occurred at the Audio-Visual Room of Xavier University (main campus).

The MOU fosters partnership and collaboration between the two institutions in providing service learning program to the residents of CCFI through assessment and intervention on their educational issues.

XU is a higher education institution ran by the Society of Jesus whereas CCFI is a Catholic institution caring for poor and destitute children managed by the Poor Servants of Divine Providence Congregation. Both institutions share the same goal and mission of caring and helping the abandoned and less fortunate in our society.

The effectivity of the MOU is until 2026.
