Calbayog City – The community of Nazareth Formation House recently advanced its journey toward sustainable living by participating in a comprehensive organic farming training on September 19, 2026, at the Cuajo Integrated Farm in Barangay Begaho, Oquendo District, Calbayog City.
As one of only five officially certified organic farm sites in Calbayog City, the establishment is owned and spearheaded by Mr. Romel P. Javier, specializing in sustainable animal production with a primary focus on poultry-chicken management. Upon arrival, Mr. Javier and his experienced staff welcomed the participants.
The afternoon's itinerary combined education with community-building. Activities commenced at 2:00 PM with an energetic icebreaker where aspirants were divided into color-coded groups, competing enthusiastically in cheers and yells. This was followed by a guided team tour of the farm facilities, allowing participants to observe firsthand the practical applications of organic poultry and livestock management.
Running until 5:45 PM, the training concluded with an open forum dedicated to sharing participant impressions and takeaways. To mark the occasion, Fr. Jonnel Magos, PSDP presented a certificate of appreciation to Mr. Romel Javier for his invaluable mentorship and hospitality. The meaningful afternoon drew to a harmonious close as the Nazareth Formation House community united in song, offering a heartfelt rendition of "I Will Sing Forever" as an expression of thanksgiving to the farm staff.
