San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish Hosts a Night of Reconciliation

Taytay, Rizal – On the night of March 27, 2025, San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish hosted a Night of Reconciliation, bringing together the faithful for a meaningful evening of reflection, prayer, and sacramental grace. The event began at 6:00 PM with a Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Ronnie Lapara, PSDP.

In his homily, Fr. Ronnie Lapara, PSDP emphasized the inspiring words of St. John Calabria, “Today I start again,” encouraging parishioners to embrace the opportunity for spiritual renewal and reconciliation with God. His message resonated deeply with the community, reminding them of the power of God's forgiveness and the importance of starting anew in their relationship with Him.

Following the Mass, catechists led a brief examination of conscience for those wishing to receive the sacrament of reconciliation. The evening saw the presence of approximately 13 diocesan and religious priests, who were available to offer the sacrament to the faithful.

The confessions concluded at approximately 9:30 PM, with many parishioners experiencing the peace and grace of absolution. This powerful evening of faith reaffirmed the community's commitment to spiritual growth and unity in Christ.
