Nazareth Formation House in Calbayog City Hosts the PSDP Assembly with Key Participation
Calbayog City – The PSDP Assembly, held on November 22-23, 2024, gathered participants at Nazareth Formation House, Calbayog City, for a fruitful exchange of ideas centered on sustainability within the congregation. The two-day event offered a combination of prayer, reflection, discussions, and sharing.
The first day began with Morning Prayer and the Holy Eucharist, setting a spiritual tone for the assembly. Fr. Marvin Tadena, the Delegate Superior, warmly welcomed the participants, emphasizing the importance of unity and collaboration. The sessions highlighted the 7 Principles of Charismatic Sustainability introduced by Mr. Matteo Cavejari, followed by group sharing, video presentations, and discussions on key issues. Practical insights were drawn from themes such as sustainability in organizations and its alignment with the UN and Church's views. The day concluded with Evening Prayer, the community rosary, and time for personal reflection.
The second day transitioned to Releda's private resort, providing a serene atmosphere for deeper engagement. The discussions expanded to pillars of sustainability like Economy, Finances, Collaborators, and Territory. Fr. Ronald Eborde, Fr. Jeffrey Singzon, and Fr. Jonnel Magos shared their expertise on challenges and opportunities within the delegation. Workshops encouraged participants to identify essential skills, values, and strategies for managing people and resources effectively.
The assembly concluded with heartfelt thanksgiving, inspired testimonies, and a renewed commitment to sustainability and collaboration. The PSDP Assembly reinforced the congregation's mission of trust in Divine Providence while addressing contemporary challenges.
