Ex-Allievi Calabrian Family Gathering 2026

Taytay, Rizal – Last April 29 to May 2, 2026, members of the Ex-Allievi all over the Philippines participated to a three-day gathering at Calabrian Formation School, Taytay, Rizal. The said event was organized to fortify the family spirit and camaraderie among the former aspirants of Nazareth Formation House.

The first day of the gathering featured periods of formation and sharing. Fr. Mark Jonnel Magos, PSDP shared to them some salient points of the Calabrian Spirituality. Mr. Peter Paul Labado, on the other hand, spoke about the benefits and dangers of technology in the context of family. Mr. Vergilio Ibañez, meanwhile, spoke of the importance of financial management, not only in the context of livelihood but also of ministry. In the afternoon, a business meeting was held. Election of officers were established. Some important were discussed and agreed upon.

The second day was more of moments of prayer and reflection. Their schedule began with a bible sharing in the morning. By reflecting on the word of God, they were being reminded that “man does not live by bread alone, but also of the word that comes from the mouth of God” (Matthew 4:4). In the afternoon, a basketball game brought back their youthfulness in sports and united them more joyfully with each other.

On the last day of the gathering, they went for an outing in a resort in Antipolo City. Then, in the afternoon, they visited the parish of Fr. Jun Menesis, an ex-allievi who is now a diocesan priest of Antipolo.

Overall, the gathering was a fruitful one. It strengthened the bond of the ex-allievi and fortified their relationship with the Calabrian family.
