Health Teachings on Stroke

Taytay: In collaboration with Bro. Francisco Perez Clinic, Inc. (BFPC), the clinic clerks of the University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Center, Inc (UERMMMCI), were able to do 2 health teachings at the hallway of BFPC given to patients waiting for their turn to get checked. The topic was on "Stroke" and they had a total of 25 participants where we started an interactive discussion on the following points: what is stroke? its most common causes, its early signs and symptoms, its most common risk factors, and the strategies that can be implemented to prevent stroke. Supplementary materials like pamphlet and tarpaulin were also given to the patients.
