Nazareth Formation House Marks All Saints’ and All Souls’ Days with Fr. Jeffrey’s 40th Birthday

Calbayog City – The Nazareth Formation House marked the Feasts of All Saints and All Souls on November 1–2, 2025, which also coincided with the 40th birthday of Fr. Jeffrey Singzon, PSDP, Rector of the Formation House.

The celebration began with the Eucharistic Mass on All Saints’ Day, presided over by Fr. Jeffrey. It was a moment of thanksgiving for the gift of life and for the inspiring witness of the saints who lead the faithful closer to God.

After the Mass, the community gathered for a fellowship dinner and program. A highlight of the evening was the PSDP Aspirants’ Portrayal of Saints, where each aspirant introduced themselves, presented the saint they represented, and shared inspiring words or quotes from them. The portrayals served as a reminder that holiness is possible in everyday life.

The evening continued with parlor games and heartfelt messages for Fr. Jeffrey, creating an atmosphere of joy, gratitude, and family spirit.

On the following day, the community observed All Souls’ Day with a Mass offered for the faithful departed. After their morning Sunday apostolate, the members visited the cemetery to pray for the souls of the departed loved ones, expressing their love and remembrance in quiet reflection.

Indeed, the two-day observance beautifully combined thanksgiving, fraternity, and prayerful remembrance, capturing the true spirit of Nazareth.
