Our Lady of Assumption Parish of Caburan Marks Third Day of Novena in honor St. John Calabria

Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental — The Calabrian Family and friends gathered at Our Lady of Assumption Parish on Wednesday, October 1, 2025, to celebrate the third day of the novena in honor to St. John Calabria. The devotion is part of the community’s spiritual preparation for the feast day on October 8, 2025.

The evening began with the Novena Prayer at 5:15 PM, followed by the celebration of the Holy Eucharist at 5:30 PM. After the Mass, the faithful joined in the veneration of the relic of St. John Calabria, deepening their connection to the life and mission of the saint.

The novena serves as a way for parishioners and members of the Calabrian Family to reflect on the example of St. John Calabria and renew their faith in anticipation of his feast.
