Our Lady of Assumption Parish in Jose Abad Santos Celebrates 66th Parochial Fiesta with Renewal of Vows

Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental – The community of Our Lady of Assumption Parish joyfully celebrated its 66th Parochial Fiesta on August 15, 2025, in honor of the Blessed Virgin Mary under the title of the Assumption.

The whole parish, represented by Zones 1 to 5, united in both festivity and prayer.

The day began with the lively Dayana at 3:30 AM, a traditional parade accompanied by drums and lyre corps that awakened the faithful and proclaimed the feast day across the town.

The highlight of the celebration was the concelebrated Fiesta Mass at 9:00 AM. During the liturgy, a special moment took place with the renewal of vows of Brother Ardiomer Amabao, which was joyfully witnessed by the parish community.
