Medical Mission Brings Health Services to 300 Resident at San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish

Taytay, Rizal - Last September 21, 2024, Social Service and Human Development Ministry of the parish conducted a Medical Mission to the residents of San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish. The event was held from 8:00am to 12:00nn and was started by a Holy Mass.
The medical mission offered different medical services, including dental check-ups, ophthalmology consultations, fasting blood sugar (FBS) and random blood sugar (RBS) tests, electrocardiogram (ECG) screenings, and free haircuts. These services were provided by dedicated health workers and medical professionals, including volunteer doctors from the CFS (Community Family Services) and Municipality of Taytay, Rizal.
The Parish Social Service and Human Development Ministry, guided by Rev. Fr. Caster Von Calipes, PSDP, expressed gratitude to the Municipality of Taytay for its support. Special thanks were extended to local leaders such as Kapitan Leng and Kapitan Rasel, who were instrumental in ensuring the success of the event. Mayor Allan De Leon, along with his mother, and Councilor Boknay also played significant roles in the smooth execution of the mission. Their contributions were deeply appreciated by the parish and the beneficiaries.
The Medical Mission has been an annual activity by the ministry. It aims to reach the less-fortunate residents in Taytay, Rizal, by providing them the basic medical services they need. The ministry hopes to continue this event in the years to come.
