Cagayan de Oro City – Last 18-21, 2026, two (2) representatives from the standards bureau of the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) came to visit and assess Calabrian Children’s Foundation, Inc (CCF). – Home for Boys and Home for Girls. The inspection is intended to guarantee that CCF delivers safe, high-quality, and standardized services.
Based on the result of their assessment, they found out that both centers complied to some of the requirements of DSWD. However, they also pointed out some of the areas that CCF needs to improve. In relation to this, they gave CCF thirty (30) days to comply to the requirements that they asked to submit. Failure to submit the requirements means that its license to operate will be suspended. This suggests that CCF cannot accept new clients as long as its accreditation is not approved.
Heedful to their recommendations, CCF commits itself to fully comply to the standards of DSWD.
