Fr. Marc Installed as New Parish Priest of Our Lady of Assumption Parish

Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental – Rev. Fr. Marc Yape, PSDP was formally installed as the new parish priest of Our Lady of Assumption Parish in a canonical installation ceremony held on Sunday, July 20, 2025.

The solemn installation rite was presided over by Most Rev. Guillermo D. Afable, Bishop of the Diocese of Digos, in the presence of fellow religious priests and brothers of Fr. Marc, and members of the parish community of Jose Abad Santos, Caburan.

During the ceremony, the bishop officially entrusted Fr. Marc Yape with the pastoral care and spiritual leadership of Our Lady of Assumption Parish. The canonical installation marks the formal beginning of Fr. Marc's ministry in the parish, where he will be responsible for celebrating the sacraments, preaching the Gospel, and shepherding the faithful.
