Parishioners Welcome Home Image of San Lorenzo Ruiz After Chapel Visits

Taytay, Rizal — After more than three months of visiting the 14 chapels under the care of San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish, the image of San Lorenzo Ruiz finally returned home on September 13, 2025, marking the conclusion of the parish’s spiritual pilgrimage activity, "Lakbay-Panalangin."

The culminating event began with a Holy Mass at 8:00 a.m., celebrated by Fr. Melchizedek de Lara, PSDP, at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Chapel in Floodway. Following the Eucharistic celebration, the image was solemnly brought back to the parish via a motorcade procession.

Faithful parishioners joined the joyful return, lining the roads and participating in the motorcade. Support for the procession was provided by barangay patrols from the different barangays under the jurisdiction of San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish, who lent their vehicles to ensure the activity's smooth and safe flow.

The Lakbay-Panalangin served as a meaningful opportunity for reflection, prayer, and unity among the faithful, as the image of the first Filipino saint visited each chapel, strengthening the spiritual life of the parish community.
