Nazareth Formation House Hosts 1st Alumni Homecoming and 30th Anniversary
Calbayog City – From November 24-26, 2024, Nazareth Formation House proudly hosted its 1st Grand Alumni Homecoming in celebration of its 30th Founding Anniversary. The event, organized by Batch 2002, was a beautiful gathering of faith, fellowship, and gratitude.
The festivities kicked off with a lively motorcade, followed by spiritual activities including the Community Rosary, Adoration, and the Opening Mass. Alumni also participated actively in the liturgical celebrations, fostering a deep sense of community. The evening was filled with games, sports, and a social night, further strengthening alumni connections.
During the event, it was decided that the alumni homecoming would become an annual tradition, with three batches set to host next year. A memorable highlight was the election of officers for the Ex-Allieve Association in the Philippines, with Atty. Anthony Singzon elected president. The newly elected officers took their oath of office during the Thanksgiving Mass, with Fr. Marvin Tadena, Delegate Superior of PSDP in the Philippines, officiating the ceremony.
In a spirit of service and camaraderie, alumni also took part in dishwashing duties, exemplifying the values of humility and collaboration. The event concluded with a joyful and meaningful celebration, honoring Nazareth’s legacy and uniting its alumni for many more homecomings to come.
