Lakbay-Panalangin ni San Lorenzo Ruiz
Taytay: Lakbay-Panalangin, which translates literally to "prayer journey," is a ritual done in preparation for the feast of San Lorenzo Ruiz, our patron saint. After being moved from one chapel, the statue of San Lorenzo Ruiz is transferred to another and remains there for a week. The eighth day of June 2024 marked the beginning of this activity. On certain days, members of the particular chapel that was given our patron's image offer prayers in his honor. At the end of our patron's week-long stay in one chapel, a holy mass is celebrated before it is moved to another chapel.
The aforementioned event took place in San Vicente Ferrer Chapel today. Rev. Fr. Melchizedek de Lara performed a holy mass at eight in the morning. Parishioners of San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish were present in this activity. After the Holy Mass, the Immaculate Conception Chapel received the image of San Lorenzo Ruiz, and they did that with a procession.
