Knights of the Altar Renew and Commit to Service at San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish

Taytay, Rizal - Last September 21, 2024, the Knights of the Altar had their Renewal and Investiture at San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish.

KOA Renewal and Investiture was organized by the Vocation Ministry of the parish, guided by their Spiritual Directo Bro. Joric Gabasa, PSDP, and Sister Veronica Sarca, PSDP. There were 40 new sacristans and 80 renewing sacristans. Their parents and family members gathered to witness this occasion.

Before the said event, the KOA had their preparations where they participated in different spiritual exercises. They joined in a general formation, recollection, and confession to conclude their preparation. The postulants, Kristian Dave Alvarez and Justin mervader, were also present in these series of events.

The Holy Mass was presided by Rev. Fr. Melchizedek de Lara, PSDP. He emphasized the importance of serving at the altar. Despite the rain, the ceremony was a huge success. Everyone was brimming with joy and gratitude. Through this activity, the organizers hope that the youth will continue to serve God through their chosen ministry.
