Jose Abad Santos Last May 22, 2025, the Brother Francisco Perez Clinic, in collaboration with the Rural Health Unit (RHU) of Jose Abad Santos, successfully held a medical mission aimed at providing essential healthcare services to the local community. The initiative prioritized seniors, pregnant women, and children, ensuring that vulnerable individuals received necessary medical attention.

Among the key services offered was a comprehensive medical check-up, allowing residents to evaluate their general health and detect potential issues early on. Health professionals provided guidance on maintaining well-being through proper care and lifestyle adjustments. Additionally, the mission included electrocardiogram (ECG) tests, a non-invasive procedure designed to monitor heart health. By detecting abnormalities in heart rhythm and electrical conduction, ECG screenings offered crucial insights into cardiovascular conditions. There were 298 who avail for these services.

Another vital service provided was circumcision, which has known benefits such as reducing the risk of urinary tract infections, penile cancer, and sexually transmitted diseases, including HIV. Beyond health benefits, circumcision also holds cultural significance and is considered part of personal hygiene practices in many communities. There were 63 boys who avail the circumcision service.

The medical mission underscored the commitment of Brother Francisco Perez Clinic and RHU Jose Abad Santos to fostering accessible healthcare for residents. The Church, RHU, and volunteers played a crucial role in organizing the event, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.

Residents expressed their gratitude for the initiative, highlighting the importance of regular health check-ups and community-driven medical missions. With the success of this event, organizers remain committed to future outreach programs that promote preventive care and health awareness.
