SVPCS 32nd Commencement Exercises
Calbayog City: With joy and gladness, the 4th Year students of St. Vincent de Paul College Seminary (SVPCS) graduated from their course, Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. This significant milestone in their lives is brought about not only because of their dedication and commitment but also because of so many people who were at the background of their academic success namely, their parents and relatives, their formators, the faculty and staff of SVPCS and Nazareth Formation House (NFH), and many others.
At three o’ clock in the afternoon yesterday, 13 May 2024, the Most Rev. Bishop Nolly C. Buco, JCD, DD, auxiliary bishop of Antipolo and apostolic administrator of Catarman led the Eucharistic celebration. In his homily, he highlighted the importance of having always a prayerful attitude be it in their studies and even in ordinary events of their lives. Bishop Buco also served as the guest speaker of the commencement exercises.
After the mass, the assembly went to the basketball court of SVPCS where the rites and activities of the commencement exercises took place.
There were fifteen candidates for graduation and seven of them were from NFH community. Among them, five graduated with flying colors.
