SJVTS Holy Spirit Mass

Cagayan de Oro City: On August 30,2024, our brothers who are studying in St. John Vianney Theological Seminary (SJVTS) was graced with a solemn and spiritually uplifting Holy Spirit Mass, presided over by Most Rev. Reynaldo Bendijo Bersabal, DD, the Auxiliary Bishop of Sacramento, California, USA. This significant event marked the commencement of the academic year. This was also concelebrated by other esteemed bishops, including Archbishop Jose Cabantan, DD, the Archbishop of the Archdiocese of Cagayan de Oro, Most Rev. Noel P. Pedregosa, DD, Bishop of the Diocese of Malaybalay, and Most Rev. Cosme Damian R. Almedilla, DD, Bishop of the Diocese of Butuan.

The Mass was attended by seminarians, faculty, and staff of the seminary, alongside a number of religious who are studying in this seminary. As the academic year unfolds, the Holy Spirit Mass serves as a beacon of hope and a reminder of the divine guidance that will accompany the seminarians throughout their formation.
