San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish Holds General Assembly in Taytay

Taytay, Rizal: The Parish Pastoral Council (PPC) and Chapel Pastoral Councils of San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish convened for their General Assembly on January 31, 2026, at the Calabrian Formation School grounds. The whole-day gathering ran from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and brought together council members for worship, formation, and fellowship.

The assembly opened with a Holy Mass presided over by Rev. Fr. Melchizedek de Lara, PSDP, with Rev. Fr. Deem Virtudazo, PSDP, and Rev. Fr. Caster Von Calipes, PSDP concelebrating.

The assembly continued with an inspiring talk by Rev. Fr. Caster Von Calipes, PSDP, who served as the resource speaker. Centered on the theme “Faith and Service: Faith-inspired service and service rooted in faith,” his message challenged the participants to live out their faith through meaningful service and to let their service be deeply anchored in faith.

The gathering reinforced the councils’ shared mission to strengthen pastoral leadership and deepen service grounded in faith within the parish community.
