PSDP Religious Join the Holy Chrism Mass

Calbayog City – Today, 26th of March 2026, the Holy Chrism Mass was solemnly celebrated at the St. Peter and Paul Cathedral in the Diocese of Calbayog. The celebration was presided over by His Excellency, Most Rev. Isabelo C. Abarquez.
Gathered around the bishop were diocesan and religious clergy, together with consecrated men and women and the lay faithful. The Eucharistic celebration highlighted the unity of the Church, as priests renewed their promises and the sacred oils—the Oil of the Sick, the Oil of Catechumens, and the Sacred Chrism—were blessed and consecrated.
The gathering reflected a deep spirit of communion and service within the Church. The celebration stood as a strong reminder of commitment, pastoral charity, and the call of all the faithful to walk together in faith and service.
