PSDP Joins Calbayog Clergy in Preparation for Priestly Renewal of Promises and Chrism Mass

Calbayog City – Last March 25, 2026, on the Solemnity of the Annunciation of the Lord, the clergy of the Diocese of Calbayog gathered for a day of prayer, reflection, and fraternity in preparation for the Renewal of Priestly Promises and the Chrism Mass.

The day began with morning sports activities, promoting unity and brotherhood among the priests.

In the afternoon, the clergy took part in a Penitential Walk, where the PSDP Aspirants actively participated and led the praying of the Chaplet of Divine Mercy. This was followed by a Holy Hour, a moment of reflection given by Rev. Fr. Ben Ma, CSSR, and the Sacrament of Confession. These activities provided a meaningful opportunity for spiritual renewal and reconciliation.

The celebration concluded with a Fellowship Dinner, strengthening bonds of communion among the clergy.

The PSDP religious, together with their aspirants, actively joined the gathering, expressing their unity with the local Church and their shared commitment to priestly life and mission.

As the Church commemorates Mary’s “yes” to God, the celebration also invited every priest to renew his own “yes” in faithful service and love.
