Taytay, Rizal — In a joyful expression of love and faith, twenty-one couples were united in holy matrimony during a Kasalang Bayan (Mass Wedding) held on Saturday, September 20, 2025, at 10:00 AM at San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish, Taytay, Rizal.
The event was organized by the parish’s Family and Life Ministry, under the guidance of Rev. Fr. Marvin Tadena, PSDP, as part of the Church’s ongoing commitment to strengthening family life through the Sacrament of Marriage.
In the weeks leading up to the ceremony, the couples participated in a comprehensive spiritual formation program. This included Pre-Cana seminars, individual pastoral interviews, and the reception of sacraments such as Baptism, Confirmation, and Confession, allowing many to renew and deepen their Catholic faith before entering into the covenant of marriage.
A final practice was also conducted to ensure a smooth and reverent flow of the liturgical celebration. On the day of the wedding, the atmosphere was filled with grace and gratitude as the couples exchanged vows and received the Church’s blessing, witnessed by family, friends, and members of the parish community.
The Family and Life Ministry, along with dedicated volunteers, worked diligently to make the couples feel welcomed and supported before, during, and after the event. Their efforts contributed to a well-organized and heartwarming celebration.
More than a ceremony, the September 20 Kasalang Bayan served as a powerful reminder of the sacredness of marriage and the blessings that come with building a life grounded in faith. It was a day marked by joy, commitment, and the shared hope of nurturing Christ-centered families within the parish.
