Novena-Mass in Honor of St. John Calabria Begins at Nazareth Formation House

Calbayog City — September 29, 2025 | The Nazareth Formation House opened the Novena-Masses in honor of St. John Calabria on Monday, September 29, 2025, with the theme “We are stewards of what God has entrusted us.”

The first Novena-Mass was presided over by Rev. Fr. Raymond Balaod, PSDP, who reminded the faithful that “we are called to bring the good news of God’s salvation and kingdom to others.” His reflection invited everyone to recognize their responsibility as stewards of God’s gifts, sharing them in service of others.

The celebration gathered formators, aspirants, friends, and benefactors of the Calabrian Family. Their prayers and presence reflected the community’s devotion, gratitude, and trust in God’s providence.

With grateful hearts, the community thanked all who joined the 1st day of the Novena-Mass. Their participation strengthened the spirit of faith, unity, and hope as the Novena journey began.

The Novena-Masses will continue daily at 6:30 AM until October 7, 2025, leading to the Feast Day of St. John Calabria on October 8, 2025, at 5:00 PM at the Nazareth Formation House Chapel.
