NFH Welcomes and Celebrates Fr. Rey Olan’s Visit

Calbayog City: Nazareth Formation House (NFH) warmly welcomed Fr. Rey Olan today for a special visit. The community gathered to celebrate his upcoming 50th birthday and 19th Presbyteral Anniversary on September 7 with an early celebration.

The program was simple but meaningful. Aspirants and members of the Calabrian family shared heartfelt messages, performed songs and dances, and presented a video tribute to honor Fr. Rey. These gestures showed how much everyone in the community appreciates him.

Fr. Rey’s visit was not only a return to Nazareth Formation House, where his journey as a priest began, but also a chance to visit a family who had a big impact on his life. This family adopted him and treated him as one of their own, becoming a sign of God’s providence in his life. Their relationship has been a source of strength and support for Fr. Rey, and his visit was a way to reconnect and say thank you.

Fr. Rey thanked everyone for the warm welcome and the special celebration. He talked about how Nazareth Formation House shaped his vocation and how the family that adopted him played a key role in his life. He described Nazareth and this family as special gifts from God.

He also shared spiritual insights, reminding everyone that when we pray, God listens carefully and seriously, and we need to trust in His plan.

The day was filled with joy and gratitude as the Nazareth Formation House community, along with members of the Calabrian family, came together to celebrate Fr. Rey’s milestones and the special relationships that have shaped his life and ministry.
