NFH Celebration of the Solemnity of the Assumption

Calbayog City: Today, August 15, 2022, the Nazareth Formation House (NFH) community celebrates the solemnity of the Our Lady of Assumption. On November 1, 1950, the dogma of Mary assuming body and soul into heaven was defined by Pope Pius XII in his apostolic constitution Munificentissimus Deus as follows: “We proclaim and define it to be a dogma revealed by God that the immaculate Mother of God, Mary ever virgin, when the course of her earthly life was finished, was taken up body and soul into the glory of heaven.”

Today’s Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Melchizedek de Lara, PSDP and joyfully participated by the aspirants of NFH.
