NFH Aspirants Reflect on the Assumption of Mary

Calbayog City – Today the Nazareth Formation House (NFH) aspirants gathered today for their regular Tuesday Calabrian Formation. Fr. Raymond Balaod, PSDP, led the session, focusing on the Dogma of the Assumption of Mary.

Fr. Balaod explained the Church’s teaching that Mary, at the end of her earthly life, was assumed body and soul into heaven. He highlighted how this truth of faith invites the faithful to grow in hope, purity, and trust in God’s promise of eternal life.

The formation encouraged the aspirants to deepen their Marian devotion and see the Assumption as a sign of God’s loving plan for all His children. The session ended with a short prayer entrusting their vocation journey to the Blessed Mother.
