Nazareth Formation House Aspirants Reflect on “Otherness: The Phenomenology of Relationship”

Calbayog City – Today, 26th of August 2025, the aspirants of Nazareth Formation House gathered for their weekly Calabrian Formation session with Br. Amante Julaton, PSDP, as the resource person.
Br. Amante, a Filipino PSDP religious currently studying Theology in Verona, Italy, is now on his holidays in his hometown near Nazareth Formation House, where he spent his first five years in formation.
He shared on the topic “Otherness: The Phenomenology of Relationship.” He emphasized the importance of recognizing and respecting the uniqueness of each person as a gift, and how genuine relationships are built on openness, respect, and acceptance of others.
The session invited the aspirants to reflect on their daily interactions, encouraging them to see others not as strangers but as companions in the journey of formation and life.
This weekly Calabrian Formation continues to guide the aspirants in deepening their understanding of vocation, relationships, and living out the spirit of St. John Calabria.
