Nazareth Formation House Aspirants Gather for 1st Recollection in 2025

Calbayog City – The aspirants of Nazareth Formation House gathered today, 25th of January 2025, for their first recollection of the year. With the theme “Walking with St. John Calabria: Pilgrims of Hope in the Jubilee Year,” Fr. Jeffrey Singzon, PSDP, the Rector, encouraged them to respond to God’s call with courage and hope.

During the Mass, the aspirants offered to God their strengths, areas they need to improve, and their plans for personal growth. They also had an activity where they wrote positive notes, areas for improvement, and suggestions for their fellow aspirants. This helped them see how they can grow together as brothers in Christ, supporting each other in their journey of formation.

In small groups, they shared what they learned and felt during the recollection. They realized that each one has unique strengths and weaknesses, and by helping each other, they can grow stronger as a family.

The day ended with a prayer of thanksgiving and a joyful lunch, bringing them closer together as they continue their journey of formation with hope and trust in God.
