Mother Butler Guild Marks Anniversary with Renewal of Vows at San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish

Taytay, Rizal – The Mother Butler Guild of San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish commemorated its anniversary on February 6, 2026, through the renewal of their vows of commitment to the service of God and the community.

The renewal of vows was held during the 6:00 p.m. Holy Mass at San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish Church. The Eucharistic celebration was presided over by Rev. Fr. Caster Von Calipes, PSDP, who formally received the vows of the members of the Mother Butler Guild. Rev. Fr. Melchizedek de Lara, PSDP concelebrated the Mass.

In his homily, Fr. Calipes underscored the importance of placing Jesus Christ at the center of one’s decisions, emphasizing that such focus enables faithful and tireless service. He also highlighted the lives of St. Pedro Bautista and St. Paul Miki and Companions, Martyrs, as exemplars of selfless dedication and love for God, encouraging the faithful to emulate their spirit of service.

The celebration concluded with a simple fellowship dinner shared by the Mother Butler Guild and members of the clergy and religious of the PSDP, marking the occasion with gratitude and communal unity.
