March for Life

Calbayog City: Nazareth Formation House community joins the invitation to participate to the “March for Life” that was organized by the Knights of Columbus, Calbayog city chapter. This event is held to raise awareness about the sanctity and dignity of human life especially that of the unborn.

            At seven o’clock this morning, the participants gathered in front of the cathedral and started queuing for the parade around the city of Calbayog. Religious groups and organizations of the city joined the said event.

            After the parade, Most Rev. Isabelo C. Abarquez, DD, Bishop of Calbayog, led the Eucharistic celebration at Sts. Peter and Paul Cathedral. In his homily, he highlighted that the life of the unborn is a gift from the Lord; hence it has to be valued for its own sake and revered for its sanctity
