Knights of the Altar Hold Annual Recollection in Preparation for Investiture and Renewal

Taytay, Rizal — On September 13, 2025, the Knights of the Altar from San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish and its affiliated chapels gathered for their Annual Recollection at the old Church of San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish. The spiritual formation activity served as preparation for their upcoming Investiture and Renewal ceremonies.

The recollection, held from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 noon, was led by Postulant Nerwin Mersado, who served as the resource speaker. He emphasized the importance of forgiveness, drawing connections between personal spiritual growth and the call to serve at the altar with a renewed heart.

The event concluded with a simple meal shared in fellowship, prepared by the Vocation Ministry officers, fostering camaraderie among the altar servers and their vocation ministers.
