First Triennial Profession of Br. Bosco
Cagayan de Oro City: Br. John Bosco Mutulu, PSDP, a religious brother from Kenya, did his First Triennial Profession yesterday at Fr. Luigi Pedrollo Formation House, Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro City. On behalf of Fr. Max Parrella, PSDP, the Casante, Fr. Marvin Tadena, PSDP, the delegate superior of Mary, Mother of the Poor, Philippines and Papua New Guinea, received his evangelical vows of poverty, chastity, and obedience.
Many people came to witness this momentous event. Foremost of them were the religious priests, brothers, and sisters of the PSDP congregation and other congregations. They were joined as well by the benefactors, friends and children and staff of Calabrian Children’s Foundation, Inc.
In his message via Messenger, Fr. Max expressed his congratulations and wished him a “life of fidelity and service to the Lord and the Congregation.”
The First Triennial Profession is a decisive step incorporating the professed religious more definitively to the life and mission of the PSDP congregation. This act is significant for it involves a firm commitment to live more faithfully his religious consecration to the congregation.
