Evening of Welcome with Liturgical Songs Demo of Orientation Year Batch Decalogos

Calbayog City – Nazareth Formation House is graced this evening with the presence of the Delegate Superior of the PSDP in the Philippines and a brother of the congregation, whom the community warmly welcomes.

The gathering also highlights the Orientation Year brothers, Batch Dekalogos. Their name, Dekalogos—from the Greek words deka (ten) and logos (word)—recalls the Ten Commandments, God’s words of life and love. Fittingly, the batch is composed of ten brothers who are beginning their formative journey with zeal and faith.

As a meaningful part of the Evening of Welcome, the Dekalogos present a repertoire of liturgical songs. This performance is not only in partial fulfillment of their Music and Art Appreciation class, but also serves as a promising beginning in their journey at the formation house and in their future service for liturgical celebrations.

The evening becomes a joyful witness of welcome, fraternity, faith, and trust in Divine Providence, reminding everyone that the path of formation is built not only in study and discipline, but also in the offering of one’s talents for the glory of God.
