Br. Keirstin’s Ordination to Diaconate

Cagayan de Oro City: At two o’clock this afternoon, 09 July 2024, in St. Augustine Cathedral, our dear Br. Keirstin Lamparas, PSDP was ordained to the Sacred Order of Deacons through the laying on of hands of Most Rev. Archbishop Jose Araneta Cabantan, DD, SSJV, Archbishop of Cagayan de Oro. The said event was attended by the clergy and religious of Cagayan de Oro, staff and clients of Calabrian Children's Foundation Inc., family, relatives, and friends of Rev. Keirstin.

After his sacred ordination, the reception followed at the covered court of Fr. Luigi Pedrollo Formation House, Lumbia where a sumptuous dinner was prepared for all.

Rev. Keirstin is a  native of Brgy. Tamia, Compostela, Davao de Oro. He studied Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy at St. Vincent de Paul College Seminary, Calbayog City, Samar in 2016 and finished his Baccalaureate in Sacred Theology at St. John Vianney Theological Seminary, Cagayan de Oro City in 2023. He took his first religious profession in 2019 and his first triennial profession in 2022. He served as the community administrator of the religious community of Fr. Luigi Pedrollo Formation House in Lumbia from 2019 up to the present. Next month, he will transfer to Nazareth Formation House, Calbayog City, Samar where he will serve as formator and spiritual director to the aspirants.
