BEC 11th Anniversary

Taytay, Rizal: How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity! (Psalm 133:1). This was the theme of the Basic Ecclesial Community (BEC) of San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish in celebrating their 11th anniversary.

The said celebration was held from 2 pm to 7 pm on the 13th day of July 2024, in the Old Church of the Parish Ground. It started with the registration of members of the various communities within the parish. It was followed by a holy mass led by Rev. Fr. Caster Von Calipes, PSDP. Then, there was a short program organized by the BEC core team. This included various presentations prepared by some groups and the awarding of certificates to the communities. The celebration ended with a small banquet.

The religious brothers and sisters of the Congregation of the Poor Servants of Divine Providence and the coordinator of the San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish Pastoral Council, Mrs. Edith Galit, also actively participated. The number of attendees at this celebration is 135. This day has become proof that the presence of God is alive in us.
