Monthly Meeting and Spiritual Exercise

Cagayan de Oro City: Today, the Calabrian religious communities of Cagayan de Oro gathered for their monthly joint community meeting and Recollection. This special event was graciously hosted by the Calabrian religious community of Bayabas and was attended by the religious sisters of Carmen, as well as the religious brothers from Lumbia. The day commenced with a morning meeting, during which they discussed the upcoming Novena and Feast Day of St. John Calabria. This thoughtful session allowed them to plan and prepare for the significant feast of our founder.

In the afternoon, the gathering continued with a meaningful recollection led by Brother Ardiomer Amabao. This spiritual reflection provided an opportunity for the community members to deepen their confidence in the Divine Providence and strengthen their bonds of unity. The culmination of this spiritually enriching day was marked by the celebration of the Holy Eucharist, a sacred moment that brought everyone together in prayer and communion. The day ended with a simple snack.
