Friday of the Lord's Passion

Calbayog City: The community of Nazareth Formation House (NFH) prayerfully celebrated today the Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion. This liturgy has three main parts: the Liturgy of the Word, the Veneration of the Cross, and Holy Communion. This celebration highlights the suffering and death of our Lord Jesus Christ out of love for humanity.

The main celebrant of today’s liturgy was Fr. Jeffrey Singzon, PSDP, and together with him as concelebrants were Fr. Mark Jonnel Magos, PSDP and Fr. Mark Jergfel Dancel, PSDP.

Prior to today’s celebration, the aspirants of NFH gathered at the lobby to watch and reflect on the Seven Last Words of Jesus. Those who gave the reflection for each word were the following: Dave Alvarez (1st word), Frederick Atamosa (2nd word), Diomer Jay Bacang (3rd word), Ralf Elbert Lamparas (4th word), Justin Paolo Mercader (5th word), Vincent Claude Odarve (6th word), and Jude Matthew Rosario (7th word) – all of them are 4th year aspirants of NFH.
