Hindi Cool ang Bully sa School

Taytay: All teachers and parents or guardians of Calabrian Formation School (CFS) pupils were requested to attend the formation program on Anti-Bullying Campaign held at CFS covered court. The program started at 9:00 in the morning. It was managed by University of the East Ramon Magsaysay Memorial Medical Interns. The keynote speaker gave a general and particular explanation what bullying is all about and how it affects on child's behavior as nowadays the number of victims of bullying is escalating in an unusual figure compared to ten or twenty years ago. The primary concern of this seminar is to give the parents and teachers basic knowledge on how to prevent and eradicate bullying especially inside the school premises. In unison to the advocacy of the Department of Education, the speaker underscored the responsibility of the school staff to make the school a "child friendly zone" . Additionally, parents or guardians were strongly encouraged to be vigilant to rectify any behavior of their child which manifests gestures of bullying. They were reminded on their significant role as parents or guardians on the proper way to educate their children as the oft-quoted axiom says "education begins at home."
