General Assembly
Cagayan de Oro City: After the annual retreat that was held in the previous days, all the PSDP Religious [priests and brothers], the novice brothers and the candidates to the novitiate were convened at the terrace of the Calabrian Novitiate House for the annual assembly on May 20-21.
Celebrating this year the 25th anniversary of the PSDP Mission in the Philippines, currently there are 20 religious who are working here: 17 Filipinos, 1 Brazilian, 1 Indian and 1 Italian.
The assembly was a time of fraternity, study of ‘The Joy of Radicalism,’ the letter of Fr. Miguel Tofful, PSDP to the Calabrian families, evaluation of the activities and the planning of the mission.
During the assembly, the new religious communities in the Philippines were announced. It comprises the following:
