Post-quarantine Birthday Celebration

Cagayan de Oro City – After many months of quarantine, Calabrian Children’s Foundation was finally able to hold an integrated celebration for those whose birthday is in the months of April until September. It was held at CCF Bayabas Activity Hall, in the afternoon of September 27, 2020. Present were the different members of Calabrian family from Lumbia, Carmen, Kauswagan, and Bayabas, including some former children of the foundation.

It was started with a holy mass presided by Fr. Jeffrey Singzon with Fr. Daniel Masin as con-celebrant. After the mass, a handful of games including a group quiz bee was enjoyed by the children. The celebration proper then followed marked by singing of happy birthday, blowing of cake, watching a tribute video for the celebrators, and giving of gifts. Giving of special awards was also conducted for the children who excelled in certain areas like having the most organized cabinet, being the most industrious, and others. It was ended with everyone having a full stomach and a joyful heart filled with memories.
