Lay Calabrian Family Gathering

Cagayan de Oro City: A day after the annual retreat of the PSDP religious of the Mary, Mother of the Poor Delegation (Philippines and Papua New Guinea), members of the Lay Calabrian Family gathered together for a day of spiritual exercise at Brother Francisco Novitiate House, Lumbia, Cagayan de Oro city. Rev. Fr. Miguel Tofful, PSDP and Sr. Lucianne de Cesaro, PSDP spearheaded the said spiritual activity.

In the morning, Fr. Miguel and Sr. Lucianne shared some spiritual insights about our Calabrian charism and spirituality. In the afternoon, our lay members had an occasion for a moment of sharing about their experience of being part of the Calabrian Family.

The recollection ended with the Eucharistic celebration that was presided over by one of the newly ordained priests of the delegation, Rev. Fr. Jergfel Dancel, PSDP.

After the mass, a sumptuous meal was prepared for all. While eating, a cultural program was prepared by the staff and children of the Calabrian Children's Foundation (CCF) to entertain our Lay Calabrian Family.
