Taytay, Rizal — Last August 21, 2025, The Calabrian Formation School held a vibrant Buwan ng Wika celebration, honoring the richness of Filipino culture through music, dance, and poetry. From Kindergarten to Grade 6, every student took part in the festivities, guided by the devoted hands of their teachers and the grace of God Almighty.

The program opened with a spirited performance by the teachers, setting the tone for a day filled with creativity. Kindergarten pupils charmed the audience with Paro Parong Bukid, fluttering across the stage with innocence and joy. Grade 1 followed with the lively Itik-Itik, delighting the crowd with duck-like movements performed with playful precision.

Grade 2’s interpretative dance of Ako ay Pilipino was a moving tribute to national identity, their graceful choreography echoing unity. Grade 3 brought energy with Mamang Sorbetero, a nostalgic nod to Filipino street culture, then shifted to a reflective mood with the poem Ang Tahanang Daigdig, celebrating the warmth of Filipino homes.

Grade 4 delivered Ang Wikang Filipino with eloquence and conviction, reminding everyone of the power and beauty of our native tongue. Grade 5 blended song and poetry in Bansa at Wika, emphasizing the role of language in shaping a strong and united nation. Grade 6 closed the program with TulawitSayaw, a stunning fusion of tula, awit, and sayaw that showcased maturity, artistry, and deep cultural appreciation.

More than just a performance, the event was a heartfelt expression of love for heritage, a tribute to the dedication of educators, and a celebration of divine inspiration. Calabrian Formation School truly made the Filipino spirit shine. Mabuhay!
