CALABRIAN CHILDREN’S DAY

Calbayog City: In preparation for the coming feast day of St. John Calabria, Nazareth Formation House intended this 7th day of October 2018 to be the Calabrian Children’s day. The said activity was realized through the presence of almost 120 children from different apostolate areas, namely, Dagum, Pagbalican, Naga, and Cogon. It was held at the auditorium of Nazareth Formation House and was facilitated by chosen Aspirants including those who are assigned to the children in those respective barangays. The Children’s party, started at 2 pm until 4 pm, was constituted by a short program, games, and snacks.

It was not, thus, a mere coincidence that this activity had its relation to the gospel of today. Jesus said, “Let the children come to me; do not prevent them, for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these” (Mark 10: 14). This was all the work of the Divine Providence as St. John Calabria tells us.
