A Day of Prayer

Calbayog City - On the feast of the Triumph of the Cross, September 14, Nazareth Formation House conducted a whole-day adoration which started from 7:00 AM until 6:00 PM. This activity has been done in response to Pope Francis’ calling for prayer and fasting, asking for the forgiveness of all sins especially those committed by Church leaders and ordained ministers, justice for the victims of abuses and for the grace of shame and conversion, as contained in the recent letter of the Catholic Bishops’ Conference of the Philippines.

The community was accompanied by various lay faithful coming from Brgy. Carayman and Brgy. Dagum.

In the end, may the Lord, help us to continue praying beyond the intensity of our anguish and anger, that we might gain wisdom and begin to see our way forward, toward restoration.
