Cagayan de Oro City: The PSDP Junior Religious of Mary, Mother of the Poor Delegation, Philippines convened from October 16-18, 2017 at Lumbia Novitiate House, Cagayan de Oro City for an annual formation and meeting. Fr. Joseph Pasini, PSDP gave some inputs on “The Original Project of Consecrated Life: Global and Historical View”. In his talk, he explicated that consecrated life, flowing from the side of the crucified and risen Christ, present in the Church since the beginning belongs to the life and holiness of the Church. Furthermore, he pointed out that consecrated life means surrendering all ourselves to God and finding in Jesus our full realization.
A moment of fraternity and camaraderie, it was indeed an apt time not only to reflect upon their vocation to religious life but also to formally welcome their new assessor (young religious formation in-charge), Fr. Thomas Pichappillil, PSDP who facilitated their meeting after their final session on the last day. As agreed upon by everybody, their next formation and meeting will be in Nazareth Formation House, Calbayog City, most probably in the second week of May by next year.
