"Presbyteral Ordination"

Compostela Valley: Reverend Deem S. Virtudazo, PSDP was raised to the order of Priesthood by the hands of Most. Reverend Wilfredo D. Manlapaz, DD, Bishop of the Diocese of Tagum City, Mindanao, yesterday around 9:00 am at the Parish of St. James the Apostle, Compostela, Compostela Valley Province. The celebration of the sacrament of Holy Orders was attended by Diocesan clergy, Religious Priests, Brothers and Sisters of the Poor Servants of Divine Providence, Sisters of various congregation and the faithful of "Gagmayng Kristohanong Katilingban" (GKK/BEC's) of the Parish. After the celebration of the Ordination, all proceeded to Our Lady of the Assumption covered court for the program and the Agape. Then, afternoon of the same day, Rev. Fr. Deem, celebrated his First Holy Mass as a "Thanksgiving" of the graces received from the Lord, especially the grace of Vocation to the Church and the grace of belonging to the Calabrian Family. The thanksgiving mass was started around 5:00 pm at the same parish.
