Seminary in Calbayog: New Beginning!

Calbayog City: The new formative year started on May 31, here in the Nazareth Formation House, with full of Joy and enthusiasm. This School year 2015 – 2016, we have 63 seminarians from all over Philippine’s. And the formation team is composed of 3 priests and 1 Brother….. Namely Fr. Marvin, Fr. Ronnie, Fr. Thomas and Bro. Claudemir.

Formator’s are of different nationalities, Fr. Marvin & Fr. Ronnie from Philippine’s, Fr. Thomas from India and Bro. Claudemir from Brazil.

Nazareth Formation House is the formation house of the Congregation of The Poor Servants of Divine Providence. The initial formation of the seminarians contacted here. We have young seminarians at the age of 16 year old onwards. They will stay here for 5 years for their first stage of formation that is composed of One year of Pre – college and four years of college studies in Philosophy, in addition to their philosophical studies they have the Religious formation in accordance with the Calabrian spirituality and Calabrian life style.
